FPT Software Rallies Global Effort with Environmental Campaigns and Community Outreach

Marking its 25th anniversary, FPT Software has unveiled the "Happy Giga Run 2024" campaign, an ambitious initiative aimed at uniting its global workforce under the theme “Together we do good.” The program, which blends fitness with philanthropy, seeks to create a happier future by pairing community service with spirited runs in locations around the world.

The campaign, launched this September, showcases FPT Software’s commitment to corporate social responsibility. Employees, alongside their families, are taking part in a variety of activities, including beach clean-ups, charity efforts, blood donations, and environmental restoration projects like tree planting.

On the shores of the Philippines, in locations like Cebu, hundreds of FPT Software engineers and their loved ones gathered to clean up beaches, collecting vast amounts of plastic waste, food wrappers, and discarded electronic items. Armed with gloves and reusable bags, the volunteers worked to restore these once-pristine environments, returning them to their natural beauty. Participants also kicked off the Happy Giga Run with a Zumba session, all while taking pride in their collective effort to contribute to a cleaner, greener world.

In Manila, FPT Software partnered with the "Takbo Para sa Kalikasan" event, a local environmental run, merging fitness and charity. The run drew residents of Pasay City, who embraced the dual mission of promoting personal health while contributing to social good through charitable fundraising. The initiative was widely supported by the local community, further spreading the company’s message of environmental stewardship and civic engagement.

FPT Software’s efforts in the Philippines extend beyond environmental campaigns. Partnering with the Philippine Red Cross, the company has hosted blood donation drives, gathering thousands of units of blood for patients in need.
